Fanny Price is a poor relation to the wealthy Bertram family - the biracial cousin who has never quite fit in with all their privilege. When the family decide to take advantage of their father's absence to stage their own play, sparks fly ... and somehow Fanny manages to be in the centre of it all.

This adaptation of Jane Austen's novel is full of intrigue, scandal and scheming ... but also kindness and love in the face of family pressure and social expectation.
